Worship: 8:30 or 10:30
Children are always welcome and encouraged to attend worship at either 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. At both entrances to the sanctuary, your child can pick up a Worship Activity Bulletin (available in two versions—readers & for non-readers) with puzzles and crayons. In the summertime, children may especially enjoy the 8:30 a.m. service outside in the beautiful garden courtyard.
About 10-15 minutes into the 10:30 service, one of our pastors invites the children forward to the sanctuary front steps for a brief “Let the Children Come” message. Then right after the Children’s Message children in pre-school through 3rd grade are invited to leave the sanctuary accompanied by two teachers to participate in “Children’s Worship”, a fun half-hour worship time designed especially for young children. Children listen as Bible stories come to life, experience a time of silence, discover different ways to pray, sing songs, and enjoy play time. Children’s Worship is located on the 2nd floor in room 211 (up the small set of stairs to the right of the coat racks). Children should be picked up in Room 211 following worship. On Communion Sundays, children will be brought back into the sanctuary during the Doxology to participate in Communion with their families.
Sunday school: 9:30 a.m.
During the school year (September-May), we provide a welcoming, healthy environment for children to learn, pray, and play in our Sunday school.
Our children’s ministries take place on the second floor. When entering from the Parish House Lobby, take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.

All volunteers have background checks completed.
Children’s Light Shine Choir:
Elizabeth Weismehl is the director of our Children’s Light Shine Choir. Our children’s choir is open to all children ages 4 -8th grade. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, September through May, from 4:15 - 4:45 (4 years through 2nd grade) and 5:00 - 5:45 (3rd through 8th grade). Snack is served at 4:45pm. The children sing in worship on these Sundays.
