Worship at 8:30 or 10:30 am
Children, youth and families are always welcome and encouraged to attend worship at both services. At both entrances to the sanctuary, Worship Activity Folders are available for children. In the summertime, children may especially enjoy the 8:30 am service outside in the beautiful garden courtyard. At other times of the year, children and youth participate in worship for special Sundays and holy days in a variety of ways. A Children's Message is shared for young children during both services.
Faith Formation happens in a variety of exciting ways on Sundays including meaningful worship.
At 9:30 am, youth in 3rd through 8th grades are invited to attend Faith in 30! a series of short lessons on faith based on a United Methodist YouTube series: Chuck Knows Church.
At 10:30 am, during the worship service, children in pre-K through 6th grades are invited to attend Sunday School. These are welcoming and creative, age-coordinated classrooms that involve them in meaningful and fun ways using the Abingdon Press resource: Grow. Proclaim. Serve!
Children typically re-enter worship in time for the Passing of the Peace. On Communion Sundays, they return to the sanctuary during the Doxology to participate in Communion with their families.
