Youth
We encourage all ages to become actively involved in Sunday worship services to the extent possible. We invite youth to participate by reading scripture, assisting with ushering, helping to serve communion, teaching Sunday School, and singing in the choir. We also welcome youth who wish to serve on church leadership teams.

Confirmation – Grades 7 and 8
At Trinity, confirmation—making the decision to join the Church—is a two-year program. Those interested in confirmation meet monthly on a Sunday afternoon from 12 to 2 p.m. in Randle Hall. Students are confirmed in April of the 8th grade year.Additionally, we try to build friendships with each other by participating in an annual confirmation retreat, ski trip and the Chicago Church and Mission Experience. High School Youth
In addition to monthly gatherings after worship (approximately 11:45 a.m.) for food, fun and thoughtful conversation, we also participate in service and outreach projects throughout the year, including:
- Christmas Party for the children of the United Church of Roger Park
- Summer Day Camp at the United Church of Rogers Park
- The Good News Soup Kitchen in Evanston
- Nothing But Nets events to eradicate malaria
- Making Super Bowl Sub Sandwiches to fund our service projects
- Summer Mission Trips (Kentucky 2005, Tennessee 2006, Denver 2007, South Carolina 2008, Tanzania 2009 - blog)
