Choir
Like to sing? Enjoy the fellowship of other singers? Consider joining the Chancel Choir! We rehearse Thursday evenings 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings from 9:45 – 10:15 a.m. and lead the 10:30 a.m. service, September through Pentecost. The Chancel Choir also sings during the Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday services. There are opportunities for singers and instrumentalists to lead the music at the 8:30 a.m. service throughout the year and at the 10:30 a.m. service in the summertime. The Chancel Choir sings an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary music from Renaissance motets through Gospel anthems and spirituals. All ability levels are welcome.Additionally, the choir provides special musical services and concerts, often with professional instrumentalists. If you are unable to attend regular Chancel Choir rehearsals, we’d love to have you join us for these special celebrations. Practices for these events are held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sundays for four to six weeks immediately before these services.
