Set sail with The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything for boatloads of Bible learning fun this summer in our ecumenical Vacation Bible School. Kids will launch into a week of Bible learning that’s seriously fun. As they experience stories of some of the greatest heroes of the Bible, kids will learn what it means to be a true hero for God. Children will see their friends from five churches (First Presbyterian, Trinity United Methodist, St. Augustine’s Episcopal, St. John’s Lutheran and Wilmette Lutheran) and the community as they engage in plenty of pirate blarney and Bible-learning adventure! Who: Children three years old to those who will enter fifth grade in the fall. Those who have finished fifth grade and up are welcome as youth staff. Adults of any age enjoy pirate fun. What: Bible hero dramas, fun songs, science, crafts and games Where: First Presbyterian Church, 600 Ninth Street, Wilmette When: July 14 – 17, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. How much: $10 per child, $30 maximum per family Why: Have fun with friends and learn about God and Jesus REGISTRATION FORMS are available at Trinity NOW Text Box: Thursday, July 17, 6:30 p.m. Set aside some time this summer and join us at Trinity Church for an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social. Once again we will have burgers and hot dogs (and all the trimmings), wonderful music, face painting and games for children, homemade desserts, and of course lots and lots of ICE CREAM! Please sign up in the Parish House Lobby to bring your favorite dessert. All proceeds from the Ice Cream Social will go to help support the youth mission trip this summer. Don't miss out on the FUN!
