When Pastor Kirk Reed announced his sermon topic for June 22, “Do You Have a Nathan?”, several people wondered aloud:  “What in the world does that mean?”  When they heard the sermon, the topic became clear:  a “Nathan” is a someone who loves us enough to tell us the truth, even when it’s painful to hear.  (Copies of the sermon, which tells us “Nathan stories” from the Bible and from contemporary life, are in the Parish House Lobby.)

                   When we have a Jonathan, we discern that true friendship may be

                   the greatest miracle of all.

 

July 13        “Do I Have a Timothy?”                    Pastor Tammy Biltgen

                   Mentoring others can bring lasting fulfillment.
